Die Prager Staatsgalerie erwarb 8 Arbeiten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1942<\/strong>&nbsp;schwere Kriegsverwundung (Flugzeugabsturz), mehrere Operationen an beiden Armen.&nbsp;<strong>1943<\/strong>&nbsp;R\u00fcckkehr nach Prag. Albrecht-D\u00fcrer-Preis der Stadt N\u00fcrnberg.&nbsp;<strong>1944<\/strong>&nbsp;Lehrbeauftragter an der Kunstgewerbeschule Prag. Leiter der Spezialschule f\u00fcr angewandte Malerei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1947<\/strong>&nbsp;\u00dcbersiedlung in die Gegend von W\u00fcrzburg\/Kissingen. Freiberuflicher Maler und Graphiker, Lehrer an der Volkshochschule. Mitglied der K\u00fcnstlergilde e.V. Esslingen.&nbsp;<strong>1948<\/strong>&nbsp;erste Kollektivausstellung in den R\u00e4umen des Holzner-Verlages. Ab&nbsp;<strong>1950<\/strong>&nbsp;in Hadamar bei Limburg\/Lahn ans\u00e4ssig. Lehrbeauftragter an der Staatl. Glasfachschule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Studienreisen in fast alle europ\u00e4ischen L\u00e4nder, in den Mittelmeerraum und nach Westafrika.&nbsp;<strong>1970<\/strong>&nbsp;VdK-Kunstpreis mit Goldmedaille,&nbsp;<strong>1971<\/strong>&nbsp;F\u00f6rderpreis des Kulturpreises f\u00fcr bildende Kunst.&nbsp;<strong>1975<\/strong>&nbsp;Einladung englischer Architekten zu l\u00e4ngerem Studienaufenthalt nach Nassau\/Bahamas und auf einige Karibik-Inseln.&nbsp;<strong>1979<\/strong>&nbsp;Einladung des Ancilla College in Donaldson\/USA, Aufenthalt in Indiana und Chicago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1980<\/strong>&nbsp;\u00dcbersiedlung von Limburg nach Isny. Vom sp\u00e4timpressionistischen Akademismus kommend fand Astler nach 1945 zunehmend expressivere, betont graphisch strukturierte Ausdrucksm\u00f6glichkeiten in speziellen Mischtechniken. Astlers Oeuvre umfa\u00dft u.a.
